I have a hohner HG300, serial 6028510. It has made in Japan stamped on back bracing and has a guess is a factory number stamped on the neck block 609015. This this plays absolutely amazing. Any info I can get on it would be appreciated.
This model was built between 1978 and 1985, when Hohner moved guitar production to Korea. Unfortunately no information is available on the exact production date.

I was trying to find out where in japan it was made. The 609015 on the neck block is a number the factory used for there selves. Thanks though…it’s a copy of martin d28. I paid 60 bucks for it and it’s awesome
As far as I know, Hohner’s guitars made in Japan at that time were built by Moridaira
