Accordion Revolution - new book by Bruce Triggs

I have just received a copy of a fantastic new book on the history of the accordion in North America, called “Accordion Revolution” by Bruce Triggs.

It’s over 440 pages long, easy to read and well researched. Bruce also hosts an Accordion radio show in Canada, called Äccordion Noir" which has been running for 13 years, so he is a passionate advocate and fan of accordions, the music and its history. (You can download it as a podcast and listen in from anywhere in the world.)

I’m about a third of the way through the book and I would highly recommend it. There are some fascinating photos and histories of this instrument that Bruce has discovered in his research.
