B Bass serial number

Hi,

I have had Hohner guitars since the 80s, I still have my trusty telecaster from the early 80s…

I just bought a Hohner B Bass, 4 string, with the Steinberger drop D bridge… I’m just wondering about its age?

Serial number: 9001320

Hi Russ,

thanks for you enquiry. Hohner first brought out guitars using the Steinberger system in 1985, but I don’t know when they stopped making them. I assume somewhere between 1985 - 1995. They’re great instruments.

As the serial number starts with 90, I’m assuming it’s a 1990 model.
