Help with Arbor Series electric guitar info and bridge

Hi
I have a Hohner Arbor Series Model 604 strat like electric guitar with a fender start style headstock. It is likely 1987 to 1989 and had a made in korean sticker one time on neck.

Can anyone give me any details the serial njmber is E714926, it has korean script per the photo which doesnt resolve in google trqnslate.

The main question I have is does anyone knowbghe bridge/tremolo dimensions as I tried ti swap out the bridge but each saddle was off by over 1mm throwingbit allnout.
I would really appreciate any help you can give on year of manufacturer and model specifics like bridge type etc.

Many thanks in advance - I can only add one photo :frowning: as a new user

Hi Aidan
I’ve not seen one of those headstocks before. Interesting arrangement of the tuning heads. This could be a fairly obscure model, possibly a prototype of some kind, which might explain why the Service Dept. has no record of it,
cheers
Steve

Thank you Steve
Inhave seem a few with this headstock online. Tuners are not original

Is there any truth to the “E7…” in the serial number meaning “87”. Every arbor series seems to start E7 from what I can see online?

I was hoping to understand what bridge people would typically replace stock bridge with as seems a 10mm saddles 50mm bridge.

Too bad Hohner dont have specs
Thanks again

Aidan

I’ve not heard of “E7” denoting the year 1987. With some serial numbers the first 2 digits signify the year, but due to the fact that Hohner has worked with numerous different manufacturers, there doesn’t appear to be a unified system. It’s also possible some models used Imperial measurements, while others were metric, but I don’t have any concrete info here.
