Hey,

I’m looking to find out what the toggle switches on the guitar each are. I have an idea.

There is 2 that just have an on/off toggle and one which has 3 positions.

My G3T did not come with a manual, there was only one A4 paper titled ‘Hohner Instrument Advice’ having chapters about the trussroad, action, tremolo and fine tuning. Nothing about the controls.

The controls I have are (in order from neck to tail):

  • Master volume, potentiometer
  • Neck single coil pickup off/on (down/up), 2-position mini toggle switch (3 lugs)
  • Middle single coil pickup off/on (down/up), 2-position mini toggle switch (3 lugs)
  • Bridge humbucker pickup off/split coil/humbucking (down/middle/up), 3-position mini toggle switch (DPDT with 6 lugs). Ie. the switch lets user to turn the pickup off or to have it on in either single coil or humbucking mode.
  • Master tone, potentiometer
