Can anyone tell me if this is a Honer by the number inside?
2668H1227.
Thanks.
If it’s a Hohner guitar the company name should be on the headstock or inside the body. Do you have a model number? I’ll ask but doubt if it can be a Hohner.
Hohner Service isn’t certain. If it is a Hohner, it was probably built in 1992
I recently bought a Hohner Rockwood Pro RP 180G at an estate sale. There isn’t a serial # on the head, where should I look inside to find it? There is a sticker on the neck plate that reads
CE Hohner AG D-78647 Trossingen Germany. Would that be the serial # or where it was made.
That is the address of the Hohner company. I’ll enquire where the serial no. is likely to be located.
According to Hohner Service, the Rockwood Pro RP 180G model was built between 1992 and the end of the 1990s, initially in S. Korea and later in Indonesia. The serial number is usually found on a metal plate on the back of the body, or on the headstock.
Thank you, I appreciate you taking the time to find that info
