It’s a model No. 2815, a very popular type that was made (with slight variations) from the mid-1930s up until 1954/55, A. Falduto. (Though that pokerwork design goes back to at least 1927.)
A photograph of the wooden grille on the bass end would tell me if it was made before, or after, WW2.

Thanks for the photograph, that’s a post-war one, from 1950-1955, when they changed to the black and gold pokerwork No. 2915 (except in the United States where they still used the old 2815 number for the new model).
