Info and Age Chrominica

My father passed away a little over a year ago. This is a chrominica that he had. I am trying to find any information on it. I’ve attached some photos to help. Thanks in advance for any info anyone may provide. It’s a 10 hole, “C”. Since I can only post one image, I chose the bottom of the box as it seems to offer more information…but maybe I’m wrong about that! :grinning:

You can only post one photo the first time you post here, but now you can add more. Would be good to see the other side of the box and also the instrument. From the information in your photo, the harmonica appears to date from the late 1920s.

Yeah, looks like 1920s from the plush lined case. Unless your father was very old indeed, he may have acquired it second hand. The instrument itself is rather battered, in that condition it’s likely to be of sentimental value only. But it may well be worthwhile to clean it up and see if it still plays.
