I’m owner of a Hohner B2A FL bass, a 4-string model, and I am very interested in learning more about its history. Specifically, I would like to know the year of manufacture and any other relevant information available about this particular instrument. The serial number of the bass is 8903220.
I would greatly appreciate your assistance with this inquiry and look forward to any information you can provide.
Thank you very much for your time and help.
Best regards

Hi Daniel,
I will pass the model and serial number on to Hohner Service, but they’re on holiday for the next couple of weeks, so don’t hold your breath. Sometime the first 2 digits of the serial number denote the year of manufacture, in which case it may well have been built in 1989 in S.Korea.
I’ll let you know what they say when they get back
Steve
thanks , Steve , i’ll be waiting for the reply
