Old Hohner Super Cromonica

I have inherited this old but in new condition Super Chromatic in a wooden case with No. 260 on a leather patch. On the lower cover there is a six point star and Made in Germany. Can anyone help me define the vintage please? Cheers Rob

Hi Rob,
according to the list I have, this model was manufactured between 1928 and 1931. This is plausible in view of the 6 pointed star and especially the packaging. However, there have been numerous versions of the Super Chromonica 260, so it’s hard to tell. It would be interesting to see the back side of the box.

Thanks Steve, I’m a guitar player. I have put it up on a shelf to remind me of the Chromatica my father used to play. I have bought myself a small blues harp in C and getting some lessons online.
