Long story this one but basically I bought a TE custom Tele years ago and gave it to my son but he never played it.kept it in its hard case.
He’s recently moved house and said he wants me to have it back as he’ll never play, after much discussion asking him to keep it,I now have it back.
It has a couple of upgrades/changes from the stock form.
Unless it was fitted as standard,a Final Prospect bridge is fitted.
Scratch plate been changed, I’ll be swapping it out for a black one. Apart from that its stock I think
I’d forgotten how damn good it was.
Just cleaned the frets,given it a once over and restrung it.
Bit scratchy on the pots but its fantastic.
as you do, but this is as good if not better than any American Tele I’ve played other than my ‘72 original which is a different animal completely, neck size etc.
