Hi - I have a Hohner that my Dad bought in the UK in about 1988. It was second hand at the time. I cant find a serial number to identify. Can anyone help?

Here’s a shot of the headstock, but there’s no serial number that I can find on the guitar.

Sorry about the delay, I overlooked your post. If there’s no serial number then it will be difficult to identify the guitar. To me it looks pretty old, because from around the mid 1980s Hohner started manufacturing guitars in S. Korea and later in Indonesia, all of which had serial numbers. That would suggest this one dates from pre-1985. You might want to try contacting Hohner in the UK, the company is now called Sutherland trading: Contact Us — Sutherland Trading
