Special 20 Progressive vs Marine Band

I’ve both of these along with Chromatic CX12. The holes 1,2 & 3 confuse me in the Special 20’s. Is there something that I can review to better understand the difference’s?

Chromatic harmonicas use what’s known as “Solo Tuning”, where each octave contains a complete major scale which simply repeats an octave higher in each register. Diatonic models like Special 20 or Marine Band are both tuned according to the so-called “Richter Tuning”, which omits the 4th and 6th steps of the scale in holes 2 & 3 so that you get the dominant 7th chord when inhaling, in order to complement the tonic chord produced in these holes by exhaling. The middle octave is the same as on the chrom. Check out the tuning charts on the Hohner website, diatonics are on the left and chromatics on the right hand page.:
