According to the list of models and production dates I got from the German Harmonica & Accordion Museum, the Jazz Band model was made between 1921 and 1931, so your assumption appears to be correct. Can you post a photo of the cover with the star? Also I’d be interested to know whether it has a single or a double row of channels.
